Dear Friend, Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that the time you spend here gives you a taste of the life-changing work God is doing at the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. Since our founding in 1965, we have grown into an organization that provides immediate help-in the form of food and shelter 365 nights a year to those with no place else to go–and lasting hope–in our 12-month residential recovery program for men and women desiring to break free from cycles of addiction, poverty, homelessness and crime.
This care is given by an exceptional staff, most of whom have been there and bear witness to the fact that God’s love can rebuild lives and transform even the most desperate circumstances. If need or despair brought you to our website, let me direct you to the pages marked Treatment Programs. If you are in our area and need a place to stay or feel ready to enter a recovery program that has helped hundreds with their addictions, please take a look at what we do and let us know if we can help.
We are able to carry on in this work only because of the team of committed donors and volunteers who give of their time and resources. As you are led and your means allow, we would love to have you join our team. You’ll find information on ways you can be involved in the pages marked Volunteer.
Whether you are a new acquaintance or a long-time friend, I am glad you stopped by and hope you will continue to do so in order to keep up on the exciting happenings here at the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission.
God bless you!
Rolf Geyling
President
